London's Chap Olympiad is, in the words of its organisers Bourne & Hollingsworth and The Chap Magazine, “the nation’s most eccentric sporting event”, in which “dandies, flappers and dandizettes enjoy flaunting their well-chosen outfits in the splendidly verdant grounds of Bedford Square Gardens.” The Olympiad Games include hat throwing, pipe smoking, and attacking each other with umbrellas on bicycles.
