At Musgrave Park Hospital all cleaning, catering, portering and security staff are directly employed by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, following the expiry of a 15 year contract with Mediclean in 2010. It was the last hospital in Northern Ireland to use a private contractor for the delivery of 'hotel' services. All such services in NI are now in-house.
