Shirley Wiggins, resident of West Kensington Estate for 28 years, queues with fellow residents of West Kensington and Gibbs Green Estates at a consultation meeting called by Hammersmith and Fulham about proposals to sell the estates to a private developer and demolish them. Council officers refused to address the residents as a group, and most were turned away without being given any further information.
