Tom Hughes, Unison Branch Secretary. at Musgrave Park Hospital, where all cleaning, catering, portering and security staff are directly employed by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, following the expiry of a 15 year contract with Mediclean in 2010. It was the last hospital in Northern Ireland to use a private contractor for the delivery of 'hotel' services. All such services in NI are now in-house.
