Colin MacDonald, Chair of the Rai;lway Lands Community Development Group, lived on his boat at Goddsway Moorings on the edge of the Kings Cross redevelopment site until the British Waterways Board withdrew residential mooring rights. He moved to temporary accommodation in a nearby pub, itself scheduled for demolition, London 1989.
