BedZed Eco-community
Eco-friendly lavatory in a maisonette at the Beddington Zero Energy Development (BedZED) in the London Borough of Sutton. The cistern uses recycled 'green' water; the taps are low waste, anti-splash; the light is low energy fluorescent. BedZED, the UK's largest carbon-neutral eco-community, comprises 82 mixed tenure housing units, managed by the Peabody Trust, and north-facing offices.
